Formula 1 is back: the start of the anniversary season and intrigue at every turn
The new Formula 1 season has started with a bang — and from the very first minutes it became clear that we are in for not just another championship, but one of the most exciting in history. Against the backdrop of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the main racing series on the planet, the fight for the title promises to be intense and unpredictable.
The first race of the season was held in Albert Park, Melbourne, where both legends of the sport and newcomers eager to make a name for themselves gathered. All eyes were on Lewis Hamilton, who changed teams this year and now drives for Ferrari. Will the seven-time champion be able to return the "horse" to the top? And what about Carlos Sainz at Williams — will he be the one to return the team to its former glory?
New names have also appeared on the track: Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Jack Doohan, Ayumu Iwasa and other debutants ready to challenge the veterans. But the main duel of the season is undoubtedly between the reigning champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull), the ambitious Lando Norris (McLaren) and the consistently fast Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).
McLaren, who won last season, intend to hold on to the title, but their competitors are not asleep. Red Bull looks formidable again, Mercedes is searching for its previous form, and Ferrari with an updated lineup is ready to surprise.
This season is the last one before a large-scale technical reform that will completely change the face of Formula 1 in 2026. Therefore, every race now is not only a fight for points, but also a farewell to the current era.
If you want to really feel this season, do not miss the chance to buy tickets for the next round. It is especially worth paying attention to the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will be held in Baku. Street track, history and drive - all this awaits you in one place.
